Abbey Design Associates Appoints Conor Eaton-Smith as Technical Project Director
Cheltenham 24th September 2025 – Abbey Design Associates (ADA), the leading consultants for refrigeration design and project management, has appointed respected industry leader Conor Eaton-Smith as its new Technical Project Director. With 20 years of sector expertise, Eaton-Smith brings a wealth of experience in designing, specifying, manufacturing, installing and managing refrigeration, heat recovery, and heat pump installations across a variety of customers and end users.
In his role at ADA, Eaton-Smith will lead the CAD and design teams, oversee major projects, and explore emerging technologies to deliver greater value for customers.
A Chartered Engineer, Eaton-Smith joins ADA from K2 Engineering where he spent over a decade delivering continuous innovation. His role involved focusing on low total cost of ownership systems, leading on the roll out of trans critical carbon dioxide for distribution centres, new builds, extensions and conversions.
Based out of Cheltenham, ADA was founded in 2006. Offering a wide range of independent refrigeration design and project management services, ADA is the trusted partner for many within the industry.
